Stacey has created this little deck of wishes, filled with witchy practices that you can easily use with your children or grandchildren. It’s a lovely introduction to magic and the art of creating what you want in your life.

I love how with each card there is a simple instruction in the booklet to help you integrate the learning from the card in an everyday way.

Lots of little practices that I used to do with my children (and still do now!) are contained inside, like tying ribbons to trees, wishing upon stars, magic circles and making moon potions. These practices filled their childhood with possibility and a lovely connection was made to the elements, nature, the seasons and the moon.

I’m becoming a Grandmother in March/April next year, and I will look forward to sharing this deck with my grandchild when he arrives.

My favourite card is the Wishing Tree. The image Elizabeth has created is so beautiful, she makes me want to sit under this tree.

This is what the card says; ‘My wishes grow big like a tree. Find some coloured ribbons and think about some wishes you might like to make. Hold the ribbons in both hands near your heart and make a wish. Pick a tree you like and tie your wish ribbons to the tree. Know that as the wind blows it will take your wishes out to the universe.’

You may like to try a little ritual yourself this week!

With so much love,

Nicci xx
